  The Greater Northampton Chamber of Commerce recently redesigned our organization's web site, www.explorenorthampton.com. The Chamber's original site, launched in 2000, was in need of a complete overhaul including redevelopment of the visitor section of the site and creation of a new section to service Chamber members. Additionally, the new site needed to integrate our Membership software (IRM solutions) throughout the site. We chose Dot.inc Solutions as the web developer to undertake this important project.

  Peter Gelinas, owner of Dot.inc Solutions, quickly learned what functionality we needed in our new site to make it work for visitors from both near and far. Under Peter's leadership, the entire staff at Dot.inc was a pleasure to work with, professional and incredibly responsive to our needs. Immediately, we felt like we had a true partner in creating this new web site to service both our Chamber members and visitors to the Greater Northampton area.

  While organizing the site map was a long process involving input from several different Chamber committees, the actual development time was very short once the site map was finalized and the project was turned over to Dot.inc (especially given the large scope of the project). Throughout the process, Peter listened to committee comments and feedback and provided thoughtful and honest feedback.

  Aside from the normal web site development scope of work, Dot.inc's staff also liaised with our membership database software company to create a new Itinerary function for the site that has been receiving fantastic feedback from users as well as an interactive community events calendar.

  Dot.inc worked within our budget to create a beautiful and functional site that our membership is proud to have out there representing Northampton's unique community. The site has been live now for two months and they continue to be super responsive to our needs. Traffic to our web site has already increased dramatically and we are sure that once we finish the search-engine optimization portion of the project, we'll see even greater results.
